Does rust wash out of clothes?

bought a new coat in next sale yesterday and when i got it home noticed rust marks on it, it was the last one and i really like itDoes rust wash out of clothes?
i got very old rust out of a top by squeezing fresh lemon juice(has to be a fresh lemon) onto the stain. leave as long as possible then put salt onto the lemon juice. you can see the rust dissolving out of the fabric!ive used this method lots and lots of times and it really works!Does rust wash out of clothes?
there is a product in the supermarket called 'zud'. it comes in liquid form.

test a spot on a part of the coat that doesn't show to see if it is colorfast. i've used it many times and had no problem with it, but you never know.

use a white washcloth. put the zud on the spot and let it sit for a while. then wet the washcloth with cold water and squeeze out the excess water before you pat out the stain.

launder according to the directions on the label.

good luck.
Use ACE Stain remover.
I have had this problem before and tried rubbing it with a mixture made out of salt and vinegar(lemon juice) and then placed in the sun %26lt;smile%26gt; I think it bleached out but then LOL I had a bleached spot on the material, so you decide the rust or a bleached spot.

I think some baking soda may also do the trick.

Take care
I have read that Lemon juice removes rust but only if its new rust if its rust that's been on there for a while it will only lighten it. Hope this helps.
yes try lemon with det powder, use toothbrush and slightly brush the rust.
